Over the past few years we have heard many people asking, what is data-driven culture? What does this concept encompass? In what influence?
Faced with all of this question, I decided to inform myself since I was one of those people who did not know the importance of the concept data driven. Throughout the search for information I came across the report titled Data Driven written by DJ Patil and Hilary Mason.
And, really, it is a writing of great quality. When you read it in depth you realize that it marks a series of steps and milestones that, in a more or less simple, clear the unknowns, marking the steps to follow almost as a path. We were surprised that the rating of the article was not greater. We imagine that the amount of information that he proposes and the fact that it is carried out as a conversation between two great experts, such as, DJ Patil and Hilary Mason, makes the reader not see all that he hides.
After the great discovery, i decided to carry out a workshop with The WorkShop, my company, to work and interpret the concept to be able to involve the culture of change in our organization. In the whole process, we work on the data-driven concept using a method to contextualise complex ideas and clarify objectives that we use a lot to help other companies to develop in the digital disruption. The result of this works is reflected in the Road Map.
I hope it will be useful for you as much as it was for me.
